The Fitzkee Brothers spent 2024 touring the United States, lighting up stages at venues and festivals while jamming with incredible musicians along the way. Now, they’re back home and bringing the magic to Columbia, MD, with their talented friends from across the country.
Reckless Shepherd Brewery proudly presents Beasts from the East, a monthly concert series showcasing the Fitzkee Brothers alongside a featured artist or band. Spanning genres like Southern Rock, Funk, Jazz, New Orleans Fusion, and high-energy Jam Band, each performance promises a unique, collaborative experience.
This weeks episode: A powerhouse collaboration, featuring Melody Trucks (percussion/vocals), Drew Fitzkee (bass/vocals), and Alex Fitzkee (drums/vocals), delivers electrifying performances rooted in Southern rock, jam, and improvisational mastery. They travel with a rotating lineup of top-tier guitarists and keyboardists, ensuring every show is a unique, high-energy experience.
Melody Trucks – A force on percussion and vocals, Melody has captivated crowds at The Peach Music Festival, Suwannee Rising, and Hulaween. As the daughter of the late Butch Trucks (The Allman Brothers Band), she carries on the family’s legacy with deep grooves, soulful vocals, and undeniable stage presence.
The Fitzkee Brothers – With an explosive mix of Allman Brothers-style improvisation, Hendrix-inspired intensity, and Foo Fighters-level energy, The Fitzkee Brothers are carving their own space in the modern jam scene. Their single “Give You All My Love” has surpassed 125,000 streams, and “Lakesong” was featured on the Spotify editorial playlist Modern Jam Band. They’ve shared stages with Duane Betts, Robert Randolph, and Jorma Kaukonen and even jammed with Post Malone multiple times.
